Job Summary

ICF is seeking an Associate Program Manager to support residential utility programs in southern New Jersey. The successful candidate will manage program financials and results, monitor progress reports, and manage client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional project team to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve specific program goals and maintain client relationships.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to motivate community stakeholders to participate in programs that can reduce energy usage and costs for our mutual customers.
  • Coordinate and attend energy efficiency product distribution events.
  • Coordinate with manufacturer and retail partners to determine eligible product lists, set incentives, and place product orders.
  • Internal staff coordination of projects including, but not limited to, internal portfolio reviews, and working with internal and client program leads to provide ongoing status updates.
  • Achieving weekly and monthly targets for site visits, networking events and training seminars.
  • Delivering effective communication through technical assistance, program training, and guidance.
  • Ensuring incentive budgets, labor, and travel expenses remain within program budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy/Environmental Studies, Communications, Business Admin, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing customer accounts, fostering relationships, and providing superior service.
  • 3+ years of experience in creating and executing sales and/or outreach strategies or promoting utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
  • Must have valid driver's license, able to pass an MVR and pass a background check and drug test.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certification such as CEM, CEA, or LEED-AP.
  • Established connections with community-based organizations including non-profits, schools, etc.
  • Experience coordinating and leading events.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a project manager in a consulting environment or related workplace.
  • Strong analytical, detailed problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently towards final results.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.
