Project Coordinator Job Description

Hickory Mechanical Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, resources, and information to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks and set realistic timeframes for completion.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Support project procurement management and monitor project progress.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to identify and eliminate blockers.
  • Utilize project management tools to track working hours, plans, and expenditures.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Compile and submit project information as required.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related role.
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Understanding of construction SOV and budgets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
