Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented DSD Pricing Clerk to join our team at Merchants Distributors. As a DSD Pricing Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pricing files and supporting our Retail Services Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Key and maintain DSD pricing files to meet customer needs and gross profit objectives.
  • Provide exceptional support, problem resolution, and follow-up on customer pricing issues and concerns.
  • Assist retailers with vendor support, including delivery issues, cost discrepancies, and contact information.
  • Coordinate and communicate with DSD vendors for pricing updates, allowances, and new item information.
  • Assist with keying of sales plans and specific MDI commodities.
  • Support the MDI pricing department.
  • Participate in special projects as required by management.
Requirements
  • At least one year of customer service or supermarket/retail sales experience and a fully effective performance review.
  • Above-average organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and a sense of urgency in customer satisfaction.
  • Dependability, excellent attendance record, and ability to work flexible hours.
  • Knowledge of mainframe applications and IMS software applications is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of GTIN/UPC/PLU identification and department and tax classifications necessary for scanning operations.
