About the Role

Dexis Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Advisor to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a key member of our Development Finance Partnerships Unit, you will provide technical expertise on USAID's implementation of Sovereign Loan Guarantees (SLGs) and credit guarantees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of loan and/or guarantee proposals to determine their financial, technical, economic, legal, marketing, and political feasibility.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of the nature of proposed business ventures, financial statements, country-related macroeconomic and microeconomic risks, and other relevant factors.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on loan and/or guarantee terms, including collateral security and completion support, and policy requirements.
  • Prepare recommendations and required papers and correspondence, presenting loan and/or guarantee proposals to various interagency stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise on development finance and implementing transactions and/or programs leading to development outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience applying expertise through extensive knowledge and experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, debt management, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic guidance to senior-level leaders.
  • Senior-level knowledge of finance, economics, and international relations to ensure efficiency of programming.
  • Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with resource and budget planning and management.
  • Previous banking experience.
  • Ability to attain and maintain a Secret-level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current holder of an active Secret-level security clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with Loan Guarantees.

Dexis Consulting Group offers a competitive salary range of $155,000—$170,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
