Position Title:
Counselor / Therapist

We are a prominent national organization specializing in substance abuse and mental health services, currently seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor for our expanding Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. Our growth is attributed to our commitment to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and a focus on surpassing the expectations of our patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient intake and orientation.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patient needs and collaborate with the clinical team to develop treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions.
  • Lead group therapy sessions with patients.
  • Address patient concerns to minimize the risk of premature discharge.
  • Provide case management services.
  • Offer facility tours for prospective patients and their families as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess one of the following credentials: LSW, LCSW, CADC II, CADC I, CAADC.
  • Active and clean license or certification required.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in conducting group therapy sessions is preferred.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday to Friday
