Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in restaurant operations, with a strong focus on process improvement, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Restaurant Operations
- Partner with the General Manager to lead team members and ensure the restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
- Consistently review restaurant operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive results.
- Manage restaurant operations in accordance with company standards, ensuring high levels of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Team Leadership
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Assess team member performance on an ongoing basis and implement development plans to drive growth and improvement.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Guest Experience
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering exceptional service and ensuring all team members engage with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement changes to drive improvement and increase guest satisfaction.
- Business Operations
- Assist with scheduling, expense tracking, labor management, and local restaurant marketing.
- Manage inventory control procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of progressively responsible restaurant or retail experience and one year of management and/or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results and implement process improvements.
