About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Healthcare Outreach Specialist to join our team at MVP Health Care. As a key member of our outreach team, you will play a critical role in promoting our innovative health care solutions to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead Membership Growth Initiatives: Identify eligible individuals and seamlessly enroll them in a variety of plans, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), HARP, Off-Exchange, Medicare Advantage (MA) products, and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP).
  • Conduct Outreach Activities: Present our health care solutions at various events, such as health fairs, community expos, festivals, and holiday-themed gatherings, ensuring MVP's presence is both seen and felt.
  • Foster Positive Relationships: Develop a robust network within your territory by building relationships with community-based organizations, medical provider partners, and community contacts.
  • Generate and Convert Leads: Identify and convert qualified leads and referrals into MVP customers.
  • Lead Community Events: Organize and lead two monthly events that highlight our progressive health solutions directly to the communities we serve, strengthening ties and enhancing our brand's impact.
  • Navigate the Local Landscape: Travel to assigned territories to bring MVP's customer-centric philosophy to life across our footprint.
  • Participate in Screenings: Participate in necessary screenings and provide proof of immunization as part of our commitment to community well-being.
  • Transport Promotional Materials: Demonstrate the ability to transport up to 30 lbs. of promotional materials, which play a key role in educating and empowering our customers about their health care choices.
Requirements
  • Customer Service or Sales Experience: Two or more years in a customer service or sales environment, with some experience in the health care industry.
  • Language Skills: The ability to speak more than one language, such as English and Spanish.
  • Education: An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Availability: The availability to work full-time, virtually, with some travel and weekend hours required.
