Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in external communications related to specific projects.
  • Participate in capital improvement planning, including cost estimation, feasibility assessments, and the development of innovative recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal planning, roadway signage, and traffic operations analysis.
  • Assist in the analysis and application of PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria.
  • Contribute to the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and project designs.
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents and project progress.
  • Act as the on-site representative for projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • EIT, FE, or PE certification (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in CADD Software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, or OpenRoad).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

A valid Driver's License is required.
