Hire Resolve's client is a prominent Multi-disciplinary Engineering firm actively seeking a qualified Environmental Science Staff Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys for asbestos, mold, and lead in both residential and commercial properties.


Oversee project monitoring and air sampling, ensuring adherence to on-site field protocols, including maintaining chain of custody forms and daily logs.

Prepare and evaluate project-related documentation.


Manage asbestos and lead abatement projects, which includes scheduling field personnel, client interaction, contractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with relevant state and city regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly in industrial hygiene is preferred.

Current NYSDOL certifications for the following:
Asbestos Inspector is preferred.

Mold Assessor is preferred.

Asbestos Project Monitoring/Air Sampling Technician is preferred.

Asbestos Project Designer is preferred.

NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator is a plus.

Lead EPA lead inspector/risk assessor certification is a plus.

Strong technical capabilities, including field expertise and familiarity with architectural plans.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

Strong client relationship management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
