Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Management Team in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, provide exceptional customer service, and lead by example to drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team in managing daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and employee development.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving guest issues and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Support the Management Team in developing and implementing sales-building initiatives and promotions.
  • Oversee cash handling responsibilities, including secure safe handling and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with food purchasing, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Motivate and lead Team Members to achieve sales and profitability goals, while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-casual or full-service environment.
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager food certifications.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and flexible hours to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  • Competency in basic computer functions and training and development concepts.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and lead by example.
  • Bilingual proficiency desired.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds, stand for several hours, and walk for long periods of time.
