Position Overview:

The Wireline Engineer will report directly to the Wireline District Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing operations to guarantee the prompt initiation and execution of services for clients. This position requires active collaboration with management and field teams to uphold exceptional service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise Wireline Operators while facilitating their training and professional development.
  • Ensure effective control and management of field supplies and inventory.
  • Maintain a strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that all team members utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings, monitor crew activities, and communicate potential hazards along with corrective measures and safe work practices.
  • Guarantee compliance with ATF and IFC regulations, including conducting necessary explosive inventories and audits.
  • Ensure that all crew members are current with required training and certifications.
  • Adhere to DOT and HazMat transport regulations for both self and crew members.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and a willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities by setting a positive example for the team.
  • Possess solid safety and quality assurance skills.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the oilfield sector.
  • Experience in operating Wireline Cased-hole Logging services.
  • Must maintain a clear standing with the ATF and pass background checks.
  • Possess a clean driving record for the past 3-5 years and be eligible for insurance.
  • Maintain good standing with the DISA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Hold a valid CDL with HazMat endorsement.
  • Complete all required training specific to Noble Casing, Inc. and the industry.
  • Stay updated on all necessary training and re-certifications.
  • Ability to work in challenging weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform sedentary work.
  • Light duty lifting of up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium duty lifting of up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy work involving lifting of up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Driver Eligibility Criteria:

Adherence to the following guidelines is essential for insured drivers:

  • No Type A violations within a 60-month period.
  • No more than one Type B violation within a 36-month period.
  • No more than two Type C violations within a 36-month period.
  • No combination of one Type B and two Type C violations within a 36-month period.

Definition of Violations:

  • Type A: Includes serious offenses such as DWI, DUI, reckless driving, and other felonies.
  • Type B: Encompasses all vehicle accidents, regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Covers moving violations not classified as Type A or B, including speeding and failure to yield.
  • Type D: Pertains to non-moving violations like illegal parking and equipment violations.
