Position Overview:

The Wireline Engineer will report directly to the Wireline District Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operations to guarantee prompt initiation and execution of services for clients while actively collaborating with management and field teams to uphold exceptional service quality.
  • Supervise Wireline Operators and contribute to the training and development of field staff.

Essential Skills and Expertise:

  • Control and oversee field supplies and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all personnel adhere to proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols at all times.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings; monitor crew members, communicate potential risks, corrective measures, and safe working practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with ATF and IFC regulations, and perform necessary explosive inventories and audits.
  • Keep all crew members updated on required training and re-certifications.
  • Guarantee compliance with DOT and HazMat transportation regulations for self and crew.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Possess computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities by setting a positive example.
  • Demonstrate solid safety and quality assurance skills.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the oilfield sector.
  • Experience operating primary services in Wireline Cased-hole Logging.
  • Must maintain a good standing with the ATF and be able to pass a background check.
  • Possess a clear driving record for the past 3-5 years and be insurable.
  • Maintain good standing with DISA (drug and alcohol testing program).
  • Hold a valid CDL with HazMat endorsement.
  • Complete all training provided by Noble Casing, Inc. and industry-specific training.
  • Stay current on all required training and re-certifications.
  • Ability to work under extreme weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform sedentary work.
  • Light duty tasks, including lifting up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium duty tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy work tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Driver Qualifications:

Preferred guidelines for insured drivers may include exceptions based on individual circumstances.

Exclusions for Drivers:

  • One or more Type A violations within a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B violations within a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C violations within a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C violations within a 36-month period.

Types of Violations:

  • Type A: Includes but is not limited to DWI, DUI, OUI, refusal of substance tests, reckless driving, and other serious offenses.
  • Type B: Includes all vehicle accidents, regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Includes all moving violations not classified as Type A or B, such as speeding and failure to yield.
  • Type D: Includes non-moving violations like illegal parking and equipment violations.
