As a Mental Health Support Technician and Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and timely transportation for patients attending outpatient programs. This position involves not only transportation but also effective milieu management and crisis intervention for both adolescents and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate transportation services for patients. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transit. Provide support and assistance in managing patient needs. Engage in crisis intervention as necessary.Benefits Overview:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Preferred: Certification as a Nursing Assistant or a degree in social work, recreational therapy, or a related therapeutic field is highly desirable.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of psychiatric care techniques and mental health issues.
Licensure: A valid driver's license is required.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of necessary training programs, including crisis intervention and CPR certification, is required during the onboarding process. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and evenings, may be necessary.
