Role Summary:

Become a vital part of our dynamic hybrid SBO Customer Service Team as a Senior Associate. Represent MaineHealth with a courteous and professional demeanor while managing:

  • Over 2,800 daily inquiries from patients, guarantors, insurance entities, legal offices, and healthcare providers.
  • More than 500 daily MyChart communications, with increasing volume.
  • Precise payment processing and resolution of billing discrepancies.
  • Patient correspondence and voicemail management.

Key Highlights of the Position:

  • Base hourly compensation: $19.92-$21.03, based on compensation analysis.
  • Full-time, hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

Leverage your expertise in medical billing and the revenue cycle, working autonomously and under senior supervision. Contribute to the success of the team through adaptability and collaboration, while continuously enhancing your EPIC knowledge and customer service capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED/HiSET preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must achieve proficiency in EPIC Single Billing Office within one year of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related healthcare field, with at least 2 years of prior healthcare call center experience. Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
