About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team at VITAS Healthcare. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding as needed
  • Assist patients with ambulation and mobility
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Report any changes in patient condition or home situation to the VITAS Nurse and interdisciplinary team
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Meets personnel qualifications of a Home Health Aide as specified in 42 C.F.R. Section 484.4
  • Documented evidence of 75 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections a)(1)
  • Documented evidence that Home Health Aide has successfully completed a Competency Evaluation program as described in 42 C.F.R. Section b)
