Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team at VITAS Healthcare. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the VITAS Nurse
  • Assist with transfers and mobility
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Documented evidence of 75 hours of training as a Home Health Aide
  • Ability to read, write, and carry out directions
  • Ability to travel per job requirements
