Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound calls, providing empathetic and effective customer service to patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
  • Process claims and answer phones as needed, based on volume.
  • Refer requests for escalation to internal areas, such as Program Management, IT, and other Contact Center teams, to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or case management environment, preferably in a high-volume contact center setting.
  • Experience working in pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, and/or medical billing is a plus.
  • Call Center operating metrics and performance management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, and/or medical billing is a plus.
  • Experience with Call Center software, such as Five9 or In-Contact, is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
