Job Overview

Operations Facility Supervisor

The Operations Facility Supervisor collaborates with the General Manager to oversee the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Cultural Transformation of one or multiple Industrial Wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of facility activities, machinery, and workforce.
  • Manage Fleet operations including Dispatch, Maintenance, and Emergency responses.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all Environmental Regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to Environment, Health, Safety, and Security Standards.
  • Handle P&L reporting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Process, monitor, and authorize all Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Lead Supply Chain initiatives to enhance delivery, cost efficiency, and quality of procured materials.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing business cases for various projects.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships.
  • Provide operational support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to drive business growth.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to adapt between hands-on and strategic roles based on business needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Skilled in utilizing computer-based management systems effectively.
  • Knowledgeable in treating oily wastewater and basic Chemistry principles.
  • Understanding of P&L Statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Support for company Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Environmental Compliance in industrial wastewater operations.
  • Experience in fleet management, DOT regulations, and logistics.
  • Capability to mentor and develop team members across various performance levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Commitment to Ethics & Integrity.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective cost control mechanisms and management of facility expenses through a Purchase Order system.
  • Experience in Maintenance Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Management Experience.
  • Prior experience managing industrial wastewater and air permits, RCRA, and Hazardous Waste Classification.
  • Experience in Budget and Forecast management.
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Compliance standards.
  • Experience in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation, and Cultural Transformation.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance Management and CMMS systems.
