Aramark Healthcare+ is in search of a dedicated and skilled professional to join our vibrant and caring healthcare team as a Registered Clinical Nutrition Specialist at Select Medical - DeSoto (LTAC).

In this role, you will have the chance to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting, delivering exceptional care to a varied patient demographic.

The Registered Clinical Nutrition Specialist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to design and execute tailored nutrition strategies for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' nutritional health and create personalized nutrition strategies based on their medical history, current health condition, and specific requirements.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding proper nutrition, healthy eating practices, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutritional care.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust their nutrition strategies as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A genuine passion for assisting patients in achieving optimal health through effective nutrition.

Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient environments, ranging from patient rooms to kitchen and serving areas.
