Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our team at UHC United Hospital Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in health teaching of patients, families, and significant others.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to accepted policy and procedure.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including assessment, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of West Virginia.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Completion of UHC's Licensed Practical Nurse II Certification Course.
  • Six (6) months to One (1) year of recent experience in an Acute Care Setting.
  • Experience with EPIC documentation system.
