About the Role

Jabbergym, A member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist AAC Specialist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist AAC Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' levels of functioning and ability to communicate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including classroom teachers and other therapists, to ensure educational benefit and generalization of skills.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including one-to-one and group sessions.
  • Document all case information, including evaluation data, treatments, and progress notes, in accordance with company policy.
  • Participate in in-service education, utilization review, and team conferences to stay current with best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Current, active license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or eligibility for licensure.
  • At least one year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school or treatment setting.
  • Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures.
  • Computer-literate, with knowledge of standard company software applications and internet.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
