Job Responsibilities:

All Front-of-House Team Members, including cashiers, are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction. The FOH Cashier greets each guest warmly and ensures that all orders meet Miguel's Jr's high standards for quality and consistency.

Key Duties:
  • Inputting food orders using the cash register POS system.
  • Processing cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Delivering food to guest tables promptly.
  • Packaging food for takeout orders.
  • Maintaining a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins throughout the shift.
  • Ensuring fresh coffee, unsweetened tea, lemonade, and horchata are available.
  • Upholding cleanliness standards in the restaurant, including restrooms.
  • Assisting in addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Taking pride in serving guests and providing exceptional service.
  • Conducting daily food safety HACCP checks.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

  • Must provide a food handler's card upon hiring.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
