About the Role

Sedgwick is a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits, and integrated business solutions. As an Auto Liability Bodily Injury Claims Examiner, you will play a critical role in analyzing and processing complex auto and commercial transportation bodily injury claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process complex auto and commercial claims, ensuring accurate documentation and coding.
  • Conduct investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages.
  • Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters, to assist in claim investigations.
  • Report large claims to excess carriers and develop action plans to meet state required contact deadlines.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities, secure and dispose of salvage.
  • Communicate claim actions and processing with insureds, clients, and agents or brokers as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred.
  • Secure and maintain state adjusting licenses as required for the position.
  • Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial line auto policies, coverages, principles, and laws.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology for claim evaluation and Medicare compliance.
  • Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet or exceed Service Expectations.
