Executive Director, Global Collateral Management

The Executive Director, Global Collateral Management, will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Global Collateral Management function. This individual will support the VP, Global Collateral Management, in overseeing and optimizing the company's collateral operations on a global scale. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of global collateral and new business strategies, collaborating with various stakeholders, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the VP, Collateral Management, to develop and enhance collateral management capabilities, driving enterprise value.
- Support the Collateral and Liquidity Committee (CLC) deal approval process, enhancing new deal collateral analysis and documentation to strengthen RGA's negotiation position and risk management.
- Lead and enhance collateral stress testing and contingency planning capabilities, providing transparent communication and reporting with stakeholders regarding collateral impacts of pipeline and emerging risks.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of collateral management systems and tools, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Global Collateral Management Wiki/SharePoint.
- Support the execution of collateral optimization strategies globally to advance and support enterprise growth strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in life insurance or reinsurance, including 5+ years' experience in collateral management, investment, risk management, or a related field within the insurance or financial services industry.

- Advanced understanding of the US Life insurance and reinsurance markets.

- Highly advanced ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
- Highly advanced persuasion and negotiation skills when working with internal/external customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international projects across multiple time-zones.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Advanced technological skills with Microsoft products.
