Radiologic Technologist Supervisor

As a Radiologic Technologist Supervisor at Ascension, you will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of assigned staff, training, coaching, and evaluating staff on performance expectations. You will also assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will perform diagnostics of systems when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
- Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations.
- Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Perform diagnostics of systems when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nuclear Med Technologist, Non-Certified Radiologic Technician, Computed Tomography also accepted. Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certificate (TMB-GMR) is required in addition to NMTCB. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certificate (TMB-GMR) is required if ARRT credential is in R, CI, VI, M, CT or NM. Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.
