Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with the collection of patient specimen(s), proper labeling, and safe delivery to the lab department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection of patient specimen(s) and proper labeling
- Deliver specimen(s) safely to the lab department
- Perform quality control and quality improvement tasks
- Assure that necessary clinical equipment and supplies are available and safely utilized
- Coordinate and assist in the care of patients assigned in collaboration with other CT technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
Requirements
- Associate Degree and graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
