Job Summary

The Lemoine Company is seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safe Work Practices: Review and implement site-specific safety plans in all Pre-Installation Meetings.
  • Lead Safety Meetings: Conduct weekly on-site, job-wide safety meetings to align team members and continuously monitor areas of high risk.
  • Implement QA/QC Procedures: Develop and implement procedures for non-conforming work, ensuring follow-through of documentation, communication, and correction of any non-conforming work, including follow-up inspections.
  • Oversee Project Construction: Oversee the construction of one or more projects with annual revenues between $15 million and $40 million.
  • Monitor Project Cost Summary Reports: Regularly review monthly Project Cost Summary Reports for conformance with final budget estimates, investigating causes of major variances between estimated, committed, and actual job costs, and recommending solutions or recovery plans.
  • Develop Project Schedules: Develop preliminary schedules, milestones, and critical material deliveries based upon the Phased Sequencing Plan.
  • Provide Guidance and Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to Assistant Superintendents, LEAP, Craft personnel/Field Staff assigned to the project.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in field supervisory role for commercial general contractor or subcontractor.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).
  • Commercial Construction Practices: Detailed knowledge of commercial construction practices.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software programs.
  • Math and Communication Skills: Proven skills in the areas of math as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Reasoning and Comprehension Skills: Strong reasoning and comprehension skills.
Physical Demands:

The physical and mental demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
