Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst I role is integral to various divisions within the organization.

Key Areas of Focus:

This includes, but is not limited to, accounting, finance, grower relations, production, systems, purchasing, and reliability maintenance. The analyst will independently conduct departmental process evaluations as required within their designated area of expertise.


Core Responsibilities


The following tasks are typically associated with this position; not all responsibilities may be performed by every Analyst I.

Pistachio Inventory Analyst – Customer Availability

- Conducts comprehensive yield assessments and compression density tests across the facility.

- Establishes and calculates initial processing yield standards for the year.

- Clarifies silo dry weight discrepancies and adjusts inventory accordingly.

- Utilizes inventory change data to refresh the Available to Sale Inventory for customer planning purposes.

- Communicates yield performance metrics on a weekly basis.

- Participates actively in daily and monthly production discussions.

- Analyzes quality and yield data to enhance crop availability for customers.

- Collaborates with operations to devise a silo selection strategy aimed at maintaining quality for customer delivery.

- Monitors silo drawdown across all facilities to facilitate transition planning.

- Oversees harvest silo management, including filling and capacity issues.

- Prepares monthly financial reports, including Pistachio Rollforward, ATS Summary, and Run Takts.

- Evaluates plant performance against run takts for various pistachio preprocessing activities.

Plant Sales Coordination

- Measures daily capacity and demand fluctuations against planned forecasts, as well as weekly/monthly production adjustments.

- Compares sales data, forecasts, and production schedules on a weekly basis.

- Assists scheduling teams in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions for deviations from the plan.

- Reviews inventory planning parameters to maintain a customer service-oriented reorder flow.

- Understands and reports on both short-term and long-term capacity metrics.

Additional Responsibilities

- Prepares professional presentations.

- Defines and documents business functions and processes within the assigned department.

- Conducts research and compiles statistical reports utilizing data from organizational systems and internal surveys, consolidating information into clear and concise formats for management decision-making.

- Engages in change impact analysis to evaluate potential implications of changes and documents business procedures, functions, and requirements.


- Collaborates with department management and personnel to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, challenges, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.


- Provides guidance to technical or clerical staff or leads designated projects or assignments.

- Documents, recommends, and implements process and configuration changes across one or more operational functions or systems.

- Conducts strategic business analysis to support departmental management and personnel.

- Assists with special projects, harvest responsibilities, and any other assigned duties.

Required Skills

Language Proficiency

- Exceptional project management, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Ability to present innovative concepts and strategies to executive leadership and technical teams.

Mathematical Skills


- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, along with calculating ratios and percentages. Knowledge of statistical methods is preferred.


Reasoning Ability

- Must be capable of translating general requirements into actionable plans relevant to the plant. Should thrive in a collaborative environment to achieve objectives and complete projects.

- Strong facilitation and consulting skills are crucial for success in this role.

Technical Proficiency


- Familiarity with company network drives, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Oracle, or Google applications, with a willingness to learn new software.


Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Agricultural Business, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

- Pay range: $66,560 - $77,500 annually, potentially including a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills and experience.
