Position Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst I role is integral to various departments within the organization, including but not limited to finance, production, and procurement. This position involves conducting thorough process analyses and contributing valuable insights within the assigned area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pistachio Inventory Analyst
    • Perform comprehensive yield and compression density assessments across the facility.
    • Establish and monitor processing yield standards at the beginning of the fiscal year.
    • Analyze and clarify dry weight variances and necessary inventory adjustments.
    • Update Available to Sale Inventory based on inventory changes for effective customer planning.
    • Report weekly yield performance metrics.
    • Engage in daily and monthly production discussions.
    • Evaluate quality and yield data to optimize crop availability for customers.
    • Collaborate with operations to devise a silo selection strategy that ensures quality delivery.
    • Track silo drawdown across all facilities to facilitate transition planning.
    • Monitor harvest silo conditions, including filling and capacity issues.
    • Generate monthly financial reports, including inventory rollforward and summary analyses.
    • Assess plant performance against established production metrics.
  • Plant Sales Coordination
    • Daily measurement of capacity and demand against production forecasts.
    • Weekly comparison of sales data, forecasts, and production schedules.
    • Support schedulers in addressing deviations from the production plan.
    • Review and maintain inventory planning parameters to ensure customer service-driven reorder processes.
    • Analyze and report on both short-term and long-term capacity trends.
  • Additional Duties
    • Prepare professional presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Document and define business functions and processes within the assigned department.
    • Conduct research and compile statistical reports using data from internal systems.
    • Perform change impact analyses to evaluate potential implications of modifications.
    • Collaborate with management to identify and document business needs and objectives.
    • Provide guidance to junior staff or lead designated projects.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements within operational functions.
    • Assist in special projects and other assigned tasks as needed.

  • Familiarity with company network systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle applications.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Agricultural Business, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $66,560 - $77,500 annually, with potential for a discretionary bonus based on experience and skills.
