Position Overview: The Clinical Pharmacist plays a crucial role in delivering pharmaceutical services, ensuring compliance with state pharmacy regulations. This position involves managing non-commercial prescriptions for patients participating in Free Product Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the pharmacy, adhering to Kansas Pharmacy laws.
  • Oversee and guide the activities of pharmacy technicians.
  • Engage in all pharmacy services, including quality assurance and clinical monitoring.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage the dispensing of Free Products.
  • Receive and evaluate physician prescription orders for appropriate dosages, potential drug interactions, and routes of administration.
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians and Customer Service Representatives.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and call center personnel.
  • Provide patient counseling, education, and monitoring for prescription products while adhering to best pharmacy practices.
  • Participate in special projects as needed by the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree.
  • Must hold a valid pharmacist license from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Retail, Mail, or Specialty Pharmacy.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits become effective the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
  • Employees are fully vested in their 401(k) after 90 days of employment.
  • PTO is preloaded; new employees receive 100 hours of PTO (12.5 days), increasing to 140 hours (17.5 days) upon anniversary.
