Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Education: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide expert consultation and education on medication therapy, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Management: Compound and dispense medications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to patients.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication use.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication between healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Education: Accredited College of Pharmacy degree
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital or community pharmacy setting
- Credentials: Current pharmacist license in New Mexico, CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
Physical Demands: Medium work, exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently
Working Environment: Fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent interactions with healthcare teams and patients
