About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team at Fairway Lawns. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a variety of indoor and outdoor household pest problems to protect our customers' property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat customer's outdoor and indoor areas pest problems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with the customer in a professional manner about their service.
  • Make recommendations for customers' pest treatment solutions and plans.
  • Identify solutions for common and complex pest control issues and play an active role in the implementation and solution.
  • Use environmentally responsible pesticide products and follow proper application guidelines.
  • Drive an assigned route using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain company vehicle including cleanliness, submitting requests for routine maintenance to the fleet department.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • 1 year of experience in pest control preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience running routes in a service-based industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.
