Minster Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Battery Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Sales and Design Engineering teams, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between customer specifications and our company's technology and designs.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical and energy storage applications. Your expertise in implementing multi-phase development projects, launching low to mid-volume products into production, and working with 3D CAD, mechanical/thermal simulation, and GD&T will be invaluable to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align engineering team and customer specifications to develop solutions that meet all requirements for product lines.
- Understand world-class design principles, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and broad market trends to ensure products are aligned with customer specifications.
- Review customer inquiries and work with the Sales team to prioritize new customer engagements.
- Engage directly with customers during NRE projects, new product design activities, launch sign-offs, and field quality evaluations.
- Evaluate market trends and customer feedback to steer technical product strategy for energy storage products.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical and energy storage applications.
- Experience implementing multi-phase development projects.
- Experience launching low to mid-volume products into production.
- Experience with 3D CAD, mechanical/thermal simulation, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and drawing review/release procedures.
- Experience with energy storage system regulations.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time between sites and to customers.
