We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work as a travel MRI Technologist in Portland, Maine. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to expand your skills and experience while working on a short-term assignment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 per year

About the Job

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans using state-of-the-art equipment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture high-resolution images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Position patients correctly for scanning and ensure their safety throughout the procedure
  • Analyze scan data to identify any abnormalities or issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to interpret scan results and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and any necessary follow-up actions
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current professional license as required by the state
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred but not mandatory
