Requirements:
- Experience with Section 8 and HUD programs is essential.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is mandatory.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Colorado Driver's License is necessary.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local housing laws and the operational requirements of subsidized housing programs is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Yardi is a plus.
- Ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.
- Demonstrated tact, sound judgment, and discretion.
- Capability to understand and complete legal, financial, and HR documentation.
- Consistent high-quality decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rent Management: Ensure accurate calculation and deposit of rent payments from participants.
- Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all regulatory standards, including annual and interim re-certifications.
- Documentation: Efficiently manage and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Leasing: Conduct property tours for prospective residents and assist with the application process.
- Tenant Relations: Address tenant concerns and complaints, maintaining comprehensive incident documentation.
- Emergency Response: Manage emergency calls from residents and provide necessary support.
- Maintenance Oversight: Identify and report maintenance or housekeeping deficiencies, ensuring standards are upheld.
- Budget Management: Monitor expenses in accordance with the annual operating budget.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to inquiries from residents, vendors, visitors, and staff to maintain high customer service standards.
- Community Engagement: Participate in resident meetings, community events, and neighborhood activities.
- Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
