Client Overview:
We're partnering with a well-established non-profit organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role requires a professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in full-cycle accounts payable and general accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and enter invoices, ensuring accurate matching, batching, coding, and reconciliation.
- Manage donation and grants, utilizing analytical skills to resolve any discrepancies.
- Research and resolve accounts payable issues with customers and vendors, maintaining strong communication.
- Update and reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Apply non-profit general accounting expertise to drive financial success.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus, as is proficiency in Excel.
- Blackbaud experience is a desirable asset.
