About the Role

As a Booster Lead, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing operations processes and systems to ensure a high level of efficiency and Booster customer satisfaction.

The role requires excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead a team of operations personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading and motivating the team's performance
  2. Validating Fuel Logs and BOLs
  3. Reviewing routes with leadership to set the team up for success
  4. Being a champion of the Perfect Boost and completing field audits
  5. Tanker assignments, knowledge, and daily preparedness
  6. Being the team's first point of contact for escalations while maintaining a high level of performance in the field
Requirements
  • Starting Pay Range: $34.00-$38.00
  • Understanding of when to escalate and lead by example
  • Attendance, positive contributor, ownership, and bias for action
  • Punctuality and follow-through
  • Safety training: hazardous material handling, spill mitigation and containment, tanker safety
  • Obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card, Hazardous Materials Endorsement, TWIC Card, TSA clearance, DOT physical, emergency response, defensive driving training, and OSHA regulations and standards
  • Licenses and credentials: valid Class A, B, or C commercial driver's license, tanker and Hazmat endorsements required, at least 12 months at Booster or 2-year prior commercial driving experience with a fuel company, 4000+ fuelling hours
  • Physical requirements: 80 to 150+ individual vehicle fills per shift, consistently able to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs throughout the shift, capable of high-volume repetitive body motion of getting in and out of tanker vehicles, under various weather conditions
  • Agility of hands and fingers to operate equipment such as fuel pump nozzles; constant pulling and reeling of hoses and equipment
  • Mechanical: ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with fuel tankers and equipment
  • Technology: advanced knowledge of app-based technology, Slack, iPad, Kobra, Deputy (scheduling system), Optimus
  • Additional requirements: meets SPII requirements, mastery of DOT rules and regulations, advance knowledge of Booster Policies and procedures, capable of teaching new SPs about Booster's processes, procedures, and technology
