Manufacturing Engineer I

Ascentec Engineering LLC is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on enhancing production quality, efficiency, and volume through proactive project management, process development, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage engineering projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and lean manufacturing principles.
- Optimize production methods, material flow, tooling, assembly methods, and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and apply new processes, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
- Document, test, and evaluate processes and equipment for new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Develop strong relationships with internal teams, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Identify and address manufacturing challenges through root cause analysis and lean methodologies, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Contribute to the design and installation of new production machinery and equipment upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and effective operation.
- Support the development of standardized work methods and practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
- One or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data and reports to make effective decisions.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a resilient and flexible approach to technical projects.
- The employee will spend time in the office and on the production floor, where the noise level is low to moderate.
- May on a regular basis walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds.
