Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Ascentec Engineering LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Optimize production methods, material flow, tooling, assembly methods, and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and apply new processes and technologies.
  • Document, test, and evaluate processes and equipment for new products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for engineering projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams to provide feedback and support for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address manufacturing challenges through root cause analysis and lean methodologies.
  • Contribute to the design and installation of new production machinery and equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
  • One or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative.
  • Leadership and communication skills, including the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Analytical skills, including strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and devise contingency plans.
  • Capacity to analyze complex data and reports to make effective decisions.
  • Adaptability, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.

Working Conditions

In a typical day, the employee will spend time in the office and on the production floor, where the noise level is low to moderate.

May on a regular basis walk, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds.
