We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to individuals, families, and communities. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced nursing care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Active, unencumbered, unrestricted, and valid Louisiana registered nurse license to practice professional nursing or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.
- Active, valid Louisiana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or temporary permit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
