About the Role:
  • You will develop and implement innovative H&S programs and strategies in areas such as chemical safety, machine guarding, electrical safety, fire prevention, powered industrial vehicles, work at heights, emergency planning/response, personal protective equipment, hazard identification/risk analysis, Safety Management Systems, Industrial Hygiene Assessments, and technical support.
  • You will identify and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations/fire codes.
  • You will assist with collecting, reviewing, and analyzing field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutions.
  • You will support our clients' desire to improve safety performance by providing training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments.
  • You will participate as an enthusiastic team member on various project teams and effectively complete assignments.
  • You will prepare proposals and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads, maintaining and growing client relationships to generate repeat business.
  • You will ensure the highest quality standards are met on project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, engineering, or a related science field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in regulatory compliance and health and safety compliance programs.
  • Strong project management skills, including proposal development, budgeting, invoice reviews, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing safety-related data.
  • Experience working in high-tech, manufacturing, power, pharmaceutical, or chemical sector environments.
  • The ability to deliver quality deliverables in a fast-paced and innovative customer environment.
  • Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, or current plans to obtain it. Other certifications like OHST, SMS, and CHST are highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • The ability to travel and work at client sites around North America.
Salary and Benefits:

We anticipate the annual base pay to be $98,500 – $110,137 USD. Your compensation position within this range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales/revenue-based metrics, and business/organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
