Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative health and safety programs and strategies focusing on chemical safety, machine guarding, electrical safety, fire prevention, powered industrial vehicles, and more.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments to support client improvement in safety performance.
  • Participate in project teams, complete assignments effectively, and prepare proposals for business development with existing clients and identified leads.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients and ERM employees while meeting the highest quality standards on project deliverables.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, engineering, or a related science discipline. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance and health and safety compliance programs. Strong project management skills, including proposal development, budgeting, invoice reviews, and organizational skills are essential. You must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work both collaboratively and independently, and have experience gathering and analyzing safety-related data. Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred, along with other desirable certifications such as OHST, SMS, and CHST.
