Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in the Emergency Department at Duke University Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will provide direct clinical services for critically ill patients, working collaboratively with attending physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services for critically ill patients, including triage, physical exams, and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree in Nursing, current RN licensure in North Carolina, and national certification as a NP.
  • Physician Assistants: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, licensure in North Carolina, and certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
