Market Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Manager to join our digital marketing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the tactical execution, management, optimization, and ownership of dynamic digital marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Global Market Development Managers and Biosciences Division business partners to plan and launch digital marketing tactics across programmatic display, paid social media, and external 3rd party vendors.
- Understand and advocate for an always-improving customer journey – guiding the customer from awareness to consideration to conversion.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance and results, report findings, recommend budget changes and/or campaign optimizations to business partners.
- Facilitate and quality check changes/optimizations made by BID business partners.
- Drive customer engagement through targeted and intentional digital marketing campaigns.
- Own and operate an eight-figure marketing budget.
- Recognize both short term and long-term trends, provide explanations and viable alternatives to GMDs.
- Identify innovative digital marketing capabilities and opportunities, recommend use case, and implement based on business unit priorities.
- Stretch, explore, and support other marketing channels as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in life science or related field.
- Experience in marketing platforms such as Adobe Ad Cloud and social media networks.
- Strong analytical skills in Adobe Analytics, PowerBI (Fabric), Google Analytics or similar analytics platform.
- Experience managing large budgets and driving to 100% of budget commitments.
- Collaborating with multiple business partners, reporting and presenting results.
- Communicating difficult, technical information in a way that's simplified and easy to understand.
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$137,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
