Job Summary

Lee Enterprises is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating our Goss metro web offset presses on the night shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Press Operation: Load reels with newsprint, make pasters, and monitor reel units to ensure smooth press operation.
  • Quality Control: Set ink densities and registrations, and operate a folding machine to maintain high-quality print output.
  • Assistance: Assist with clean up and provide support in the plate room as needed.
  • Scheduling: Work a shift schedule of 8pm - 6am OR noon to 8 p.m., depending on business needs.

  • Training: On-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
  • Attitude and Judgment: A positive attitude and good judgment are essential for this position.
