Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed Department of Anesthesiology. Key Responsibilities- Conduct preoperative evaluations, assessing patient conditions and selecting appropriate anesthetic techniques in consultation with attending anesthesiologists.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for anesthesia administration, ensuring accuracy and precision in patient care.
- Administer anesthesia, monitoring vital signs and other indicators of anesthesia's effects on patients, and recording patient conditions during and after administration.
- Conduct postoperative follow-up, ensuring optimal patient recovery and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with faculty anesthesiologists to provide high-quality patient care and participate in call coverage as needed.
- Master's degree in nursing, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree preferred.
- Current nursing license in the state of Ohio.
- Certificate of Authority to practice as a CRNA in Ohio, issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Current certification or recertification as a nurse anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
