Senior Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate complex information systems.
  • Develop functional and technical designs for information systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Lead teams in software design, coding, system integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Support critical development processes for system architecture and data flow.
  • Oversee the design and management of data flows, ensuring proper system inputs and outputs, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and improve system business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending alternative approaches.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and technical training programs for new system developers and users.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet specified standards and best practices.
  • Perform workflow analyses to optimize system efficiency.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy machine learning models integrated with broader system architectures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to guide decision-making on alternative technical approaches.
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to junior team members, ensuring collaborative and high-performing development efforts.
  • Design and manage project work plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in system design, data processing, and software development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and querying.
  • Expertise in creating data visualizations that provide meaningful business insights.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning models, statistical concepts, and their practical application.
  • Experience leading software development projects, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Ability to evaluate business processes and suggest improvements through system design and integration.
  • Experience developing documentation, training programs, and conducting quality assurance reviews.
  • Familiarity with workflow analyses and system optimization strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
