Automotive Finance Assistant

Tidelands Ford is on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced Automotive Accounting Assistant to enhance our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the accurate and prompt documentation of financial activities pertinent to the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and upkeep of financial documentation, encompassing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, as well as general ledger entries.
- Assist in the automotive billing procedure and the generation of related reports and schedules.
- Handle vehicle title processing tasks.
- Conduct data entry while ensuring the precision of financial records.
- Aid in account reconciliations and balancing activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members to accomplish financial objectives and bolster the accounting department's efforts.
- Digitally archive all company documents into the data management system.
- Participate in cross-training for various office roles and dealership administrative functions.
- Undertake additional office duties as required.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and maintain an organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive accounting or a comparable position is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software; familiarity with CDK is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Compensation: Starting at $15.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
