Strategic Initiatives Manager

Under general supervision, the Strategic Initiatives Manager serves as a technical leader in business analysis and project management for the Division of Medical Education. The incumbent will identify and evaluate opportunities, plan and implement solutions, change management and track and measure success for short- and long-term organizational, business, and/or financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and advocates implementation of initiatives that optimize operations, bring consistency across units and yield potential time and effort savings. Serves as internal consultant to support Medical Education's continuous evaluation and process improvement goals and manages special projects related to accreditation needs across the educational continuum. Works on strategic organizational consulting issues that are diverse in scope, where analysis of situations requires evaluation of various factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Seven years of related experience, education/training, OR an Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training. Has thorough knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions. Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, project planning and implementation skills. Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building. Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained. Ability to focus on priorities, strategies, and vision. Ability to coach, facilitate, and influence people.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred. Knowledge of Health Sciences business, functions and missions.

Annual Full Pay Range:
$85,400 - $156,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent:
$75.10
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
