Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a designated portfolio of clients generating significant revenue, exceeding $800k.
  • Manage the renewal process and handle new business inquiries, cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests.
  • Assign tasks related to cancellations, audits, and endorsements to appropriate team members.
  • Prepare invoices for policies, audits, endorsements, and cancellations as necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy of your work and that of your team.
  • Track the issuance of insurance certificates.
  • Develop guidelines for certificate issuance.
  • Maintain the renewal tracking list.
  • Market renewal policies effectively.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with insurance carriers.
  • Provide producers with comprehensive renewal proposals.
  • Conduct final reviews of policies to confirm coverage adequacy.
  • Address inquiries from insured parties and underwriters or direct them as needed.
  • Assist producers and the accounting team in reconciling client accounts.
  • Manage account rounding effectively.
  • Foster and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in a Client Manager, Account Manager, or similar role within the Property & Casualty brokerage sector.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.
  • CISR/CIC designation or other advanced certifications are preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven familiarity with the renewal cycle and associated processes.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Accountability and personal responsibility for the assigned client portfolio.
  • Ability to cultivate and enhance professional relationships with clients.
